Fulbright Overview
Mariah has been selected as a Fulbright U.S. Scholar, an award she will undertake at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, from February to December of 2027. Working with Professor Amirali Popat in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mariah will explore oral drug delivery across age groups. This collaboration represents a true exchange of expertise: Mariah will bring her mRNA lipid nanoparticle research to Professor Popat's group while gaining new knowledge in age-specific oral delivery strategies. Mariah views the Fulbright as a capstone to her postdoctoral training and an exciting next step as she prepares to launch her independent research career.
